NEW YORK, NY - Residents in Trump Parc, Trump Parc East and 610 Park Avenue Will Soon Enjoy Verizon FiOS Services, Which Provide the Fastest Residential Internet Connection Speeds and Superior TV Picture Quality and Content. Residents in three more Donald Trump buildings in Manhattan will soon have access to Verizon FiOS services, delivered over the company's industry-leading, all-fiber-optic network. Verizon, which recently signed an agreement with the Trump Organization, will bring FiOS TV and FiOS Internet services to Trump Parc, Trump Parc East and 610 Park Avenue, which contain more than 500 apartments.
Residents of two other Trump buildings, The Trump World Tower at United Nations Plaza and Trump Park Avenue, already enjoy 100 high-definition (HD) channels provided by FiOS TV and broadband speeds of up to 50 Mbps (megabits per second) provided by FiOS Internet service.
"Trump properties are known for offering premier amenities that represent the finest lifestyle-choice options," said Eric Cevis, vice president of Verizon Enhanced Communities, a business organization of Verizon that markets and sells communications and entertainment services to single- and multiple-home communities. "With FiOS, Trump residents will receive the highest-quality broadband and entertainment services available in the market. The immense capacity of our all-fiber-optic network means residents will receive HD signals just as Verizon receives them, without the additional compression that some cable companies perform."
Trump Organization Chairman and President Donald J. Trump said, "We're taking advantage of Verizon's recently earned ability to deliver FiOS TV in New York City over fiber-optic lines connected straight to my buildings, which continues the high standard of excellence I demand. We know our residents will appreciate having the option to choose the very best in entertainment services from Verizon."
Trump and Verizon are exploring other Trump properties that can be served by Verizon FiOS services. "We never had a second thought about having Verizon FiOS services installed in the buildings, said Trump Organization Chief Operating Officer Matthew Calamari. "At Trump properties we provide super-luxurious accommodations and the latest technology to serve our residents.
"When we first learned of the advanced network capabilities of Verizon FiOS services, we wanted to bring them immediately to our residents," Calamari said. "It's technology that we believe will support future applications our residents will adopt."
