WALNUT CREEK, CA - Sequoia announced today that they will be offering available apartment homes at a reduced rate in an effort to help those affected by the fires in Northern California. With nine communities located within Rohnert Park, Petaluma, Vacaville, Benicia, and Martinez, Sequoia hopes that these discounted, flexible leases will provide beneficial housing relief to those who have been evacuated or displaced. Anyone who is in need of assistance is encouraged to visit www.elevatetosequoia.com to find housing options in these cities and the contact information for the local leasing office.
In addition to the “Open Door” Program, Sequoia has started a fundraiser to help raise money for those affected. 100% of the donations will be given to a local non-profit organization. Sequoia team members have also been given paid time off to volunteer at local support centers.
“We are deeply saddened to hear of the lives lost and the destruction caused by these fires. Our thoughts are with those who have been affected and we thank the first responders and volunteers who are working diligently around the clock. These are our neighbors, and as a housing provider we want to do all that we can to help those affected by these fires in any capacity,” said Mark Carter, President and CEO of Sequoia.
