Cleat Design + Build Names Industry Veteran Eric Frantz Partner to Oversee Planning and Construction Related Operations

BETHESDA, MD - Cleat Design + Build of Alexandria, VA has named Eric Frantz a Partner in the Alexandria, VA-based firm. In this role, he is responsible for all of Cleat’s construction operations including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation, as well as customer satisfaction.   

Mr. Frantz joined Cleat in 2019 as Vice President of Operations after serving for four years as Project Manager at Urban Investment Partners General Contracting (UIPGC) of Washington, DC. Prior to that, he honed his skills at NVR, Inc., where he managed construction of homes valued at over $100 million. 

Before launching his construction career, Mr. Frantz realized his lifelong dream of sailing around the world. He and his father spent 16 months on a 45-foot sailboat named Blue Heron during 2011-12, visiting 24 countries on four continents.  

 Mr. Frantz holds a B.A. degree from George Washington University.
