Sequoia Equities Initiates Management Services for 176-Unit K Street Flats Mid-Rise Apartment Community in Berkeley, California

WALNUT CREEK, CA - Sequoia Equities announces that they will start management services on K Street Flats Apartment Homes, a 176-unit, mid-rise apartment community located in Berkeley, California. Built in 2007, K Street comprises over 124,000 residential square feet. With this agreement, Sequoia will professionally manage 14,349 units across 56 communities.

K Street Flats is centrally located within the Downtown Berkeley area and is only a few blocks away from the University of Berkeley, California. The prime location boasts a walk and bike score of 99 out of 100, as its close proximity to top-rated restaurants,  retail shopping boutiques, and a variety of museums, makes it a walker’s paradise. Rita Crawford, Vice President of Portfolio Management, expressed the importance of managing this asset, “A key goal for Sequoia is providing quality housing with memorable experiences for our residents.  Another important goal for Sequoia is to be a strong community-focused partner, giving back to our local communities. This building allows us to bring these goals together in one; allowing us the opportunity to preserve and support affordable housing in the neighborhoods in which we operate.”
