Western Wealth Capital Offers Free December Rent for 52 Families in Dallas, Tucson, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Houston and Atlanta Markets

PHOENIX, AZ - Western Wealth Capital (WWC), a nationwide multifamily home company launched its eighth year of Rent-Free Christmas, a program designed to ease the financial burden of rent for one family in each of the company’s 52 communities across the nation. In addition, eight families received holiday gifts for their family, allowing them to focus on enjoying the season and easing the stress that comes with the expense of putting gifts under the tree. During the past eight seasons of giving, WWC has provided 298 U.S. families $283,000 worth of free rent and 51 families have received a combined $40,000 in Christmas surprises across Dallas, Tucson, Phoenix, Atlanta, Houston and Las Vegas.

“The families who call our communities home are working hard day in and day out to give their loved ones as much as they can. Being able to skip a month of paying rent or having some holiday gifts provided allows them to take a deep breath and maybe get ahead a little bit. We love being able to offer these programs to such deserving people,” said Janet LePage, co-founder and CEO of Western Wealth Capital.

An example of two of the deserving residents includes Benita of Sierra Pines Apartments in Phoenix who lost her two teenage sons in a tragic accident earlier this year. Benita is very soft spoken, and, despite her loss, she is bold in her kindness to others, always offering the office and maintenance staff complete home cooked meals for helping her or making a repair. Additionally single mother of three, Monique of Arches Apartment Homes in Glendale, AZ received free rent and surprises for her and her children. After losing her job earlier this year, Monique and her daughter have been working hard to get caught up on rent and go so far as to hand over entire paychecks to the office staff. Monique walks two miles to work, despite the oppressive summer Arizona temperatures. Though rental assistance programs are available to her, she says, “there’s always someone else who needs it more.”

As a people-first company, Western Wealth Capital prioritizes the well-being of the 20,000 people who live in their communities. Part of that means understanding the challenges families are facing in the current economy. “We’ve seen the impact these programs have on the recipients; it’s a moment that brings tears to everyone who witnesses it. They are just so grateful to have something like this fall into their lap. And they deserve it. We know that families are having to tighten their belts even more this year, so being able to offer this once again means so much to us,” LePage continued.

The surprise rent-free Christmas and holiday gift donations were announced the end of November in the following cities:

  • Atlanta, GA
  • Dallas, TX
  • Houston, TX
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • Phoenix, AZ
  • Tucson, AZ
