Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Sale of Recently Built 362-Unit The Flats at Westshore Multifamily Community in Atlanta Submarket

ATLANTA, GA - Cushman & Wakefield announced that the commercial real estate services firm has arranged the sale of The Flats at Westshore, a recently built 362-unit multifamily community located in Cumming, Georgia.

Robert Stickel, Alex Brown, Ashlyn Warren, Michael Kay, and Sim Patrick of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Atlantic Residential, in the transaction. The community was acquired by Weinstein Properties.

"Atlantic Residential identified this unique opportunity to develop a mixed-use village along with The Flats at Westshore. They designed and delivered a differentiated multifamily asset with several attractive attributes including greenspace, ample amenities, and complementary retail in a walkable environment. The success here was marked by a strong lease-up with trending rents, and swift sale upon agency financing eligibility," said Stickel, Executive Vice Chair at Cushman & Wakefield.

Built in 2022, The Flats at Westshore is positioned within the thriving Westshore Town Center, featuring 20,000 square feet of retail. The multifamily community has immediate access to unique amenities, such as, Lake Lanier (Georgia’s largest lake) and Atlanta’s most transformative new developments like Avalon, Downtown Alpharetta, Halcyon, and The Gathering at Forsyth.

"Weinstein Properties added another great asset to their growing Atlanta portfolio with the acquisition of The Flats at Westshore. They were attracted to the community’s location in the renowned GA-400 North Corridor that benefits from Forsyth County’s high barriers to entry, excellent schools, compelling jobs, and population growth,” added Brown, Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
